Thankful Journal

Photobucket

Happy Thanksgiving week to my wonderful readers!

I was visiting Cheryl Barker's blog and she had the best idea! She is suggesting that you create a Thankful Journal and write something in it every night. It doesn't have to be the big things (although that would work, too) but you just think of the little things that happen during the day. For example, I could put how my son took a shower in my bathroom and as he was walking to his room he said, "Go look at the mirror, Mom, I left you a note." When I went into the bathroom, he had been using his finger to draw into the steam the words, "I love my Mom!" little treasures! You get the idea.

Anyhow, I was so intrigued by the idea that I've gone out and bought inexpensive notebooks for my kids to decorate, and then we will all begin to use a daily thankful journal. For more details, please visit her post, HERE.

I will be back for Thankful Thursdays tomorrow, but then I'm taking a break until Monday. Be blessed, and happy journaling!

I'm majorly impressed with your son. What a treasure to know he was thinking of you.

Great idea! I was just thinking last night, in the shower none the less, about writing in a journal all my praises and thanks to God! I think this may be a confirmation!

Happy Thanksgiving! I am thankful for you! Your life in Christ spurs me on and encourages me!

Love,
Nicole

This is a wonderful idea!! I journal quite a bit, and my youngest daughter sent me a new journal for my birthday.

I guess I know what it's going to be used for now!!

Thanks for the sharing Cheryl's idea. I'll be back tomorrow for Thankful Thursday!!

By the way--if you care to--I posted my testimony today on The Power of Your Love--

http://wwwthepowerofyoulove.blogspot.com

I was reluctant to do this, but was encouraged to do so by others so that they may see that there is hope, joy and peace freely available to them--all they need to do is accept the love of Jesus.
