Thankful Thursday #52
Welcome to Thankful Thursday! If you'd like to participate, just copy the T.T. button on my sidebar and paste it into your post. Next write down five things you are thankful for this week. Finally, come back here and link up with Mr. Linky. It's that easy!
Here's my list for this week:
1) I am thankful that when my dryer broke on Monday night, my wonderful husband took the morning off on Tuesday to go buy a new one with me and then install it! He never complained or griped! He's amazing!
2) I am thankful for technology. I can't imagine having to hand wash our clothes! With six kids and two adults living in my house, not having a washer and dryer for even one day means laundry overload!
3) I am thankful that I had the chance to fill in at church last night. I helped teach the K-5th graders at Cool Kids and it was a pure delight. They are so precious! The things they say and do just amazed me.
4) I am thankful that my family has had the flu, and now we are all healthy! Phew! What a relief that we've been through it and now we are all on the other side and can move on with the winter.
5) I am thankful for friendships. They make my life easier and warmer and more loved. The fact that great people keep moving in and out of my life is so special. And with the internet, I can keep up with them no matter where they live!

your list is the best. And it sounds so is your husband. Glad the round of flu is over and done with....Have a great day and thank you Sonya so much for doing TT. It helps me to focus on the good stuff. Sarah
I like your 'Thankfuls' and I SO agree with the thankful for technology one- I am constantly grateful for the washing machine as we didn't have one all the tears the children were babies. Imagine all the work those pioneer women did?
Good friends do make life so much better. I don't know what we would do without our washer or dryer either. We are so spoiled. :)
Just a quick hello from an old commenter turned lurker! :o) Wanted to congratulate you on a FULL YEAR of Thankful Thursday! 52 weeks of thankfulness is AWESOME!!
Blessings,
Melinda
Oh my - I can't imagine YOUR life without a washer or a dryer. So glad you got a new one!
And I too am grateful for friends.
As for the sickness...I am right tired of it! I now have a chest cold. I feel uggy! BLAH!!! Illness go away!
But I am thankful I have a safe warm home to be sick in, and am not homeless or hungry.
#1 is a HUGE blessing!
I am so thankful for technology too. I love being able to learn about almost anything I want from my computer!
Kids may be God's greatest invention. ;)
So glad you are all over illnesses.
I am soooo thankful for friendships too, Sonya! Thank you for coming up with this wonderful idea of Thankful Thursdays. I love reading all the thankful lists from the other blogging buddies!!!

Your list is wonderful! I'm so glad that your husband so willingly helped you. That's love :)
Sonya,
Isn't technology so amazing that we can be blessed not only through blogging but receiving so many tips and suggestions that improve our everyday lives.
I too am thankful for not having to handwash or dry our clothes. Those poor women from the past!

New here--but this looks like fun!
I'm glad that you all are healthy now and that you have a new/working dryer.
Have a blessed day in the Lord!
You certainly have a lot to be thankful for. What would we do without God who makes all these good things happen.

thank you for thankful thursday!
Amen for technology! In one week both our dishwasher and microwave broke. I actually found it harder to live without the microwave!
Hope you're doing well. I haven't been in the blog world too often lately!
Love and Hugs, Leslie
Thank you again Sonya, for keeping our eyes on Jesus, and the many ways He has blessed us all!
Love,
Julie
