Proud to be an American

american flag Pictures, Images and Photos

I wanted to take this opportunity to tell the world that I am proud to be an American!

I am also proud to be a Christian.

On this Memorial day, let's take the time to be thankful for all of the men and women who have ever served our country over the years.

Let's also take this opportunity to be thankful for all of the missionaries who have ever served our Savior with their lives over the years.

Missionaries are members of God's army, they are fighting for His kingdom.

God bless America!

It's always good to give thanks for the good things that God gives us.

Sonya, your blog looks great.

My name is Tiffany Godfrey, and I am a fellow writer and Christian.

As yourself, it's very important for me to have intimacy with God. For it's the only way that we can manage our own lives and our homes.

Have a great Memorial Day and feel free to check out my blog. It's geared towards writers. :)

Why have I never thought of that before. You are so right! It's a great day to remember our missionaries who have given so much, so that He might be known, so that true freedom might be experienced through Jesus.

I think its good to remember every one who has sacrificed themselves in persuit of their faith. Without faith, what do we have?

Sonya,

I couldn't agree with you more! We need to also remember ourselves as we prepare daily for the spiritual battle that we face daily!

Let's us be thankful for everything that is done for preserving our freedoms!

This is a wonderful post. I read it the other day but for some reason wasn't able to comment. We must give thanks where thanks are due.
