Live, Laugh, Love

We had a chance to live life with laughter over the weekend. My son has a few too many nerf guns and the whole family was having a nerf gun fight.

My son stared it, he shot my hubby wile he was lying in bed. Then the whole family jouned in! They were running, screaming and laughing. There were bullets flying all over!

Do you think this gun is too big? It's a nerf bazooka and it HURTS!! LOL!!

She's just too cute to shoot! Look at that smile! (Notice the Jedi warrier in the background!)

Now This is a smart child, she's hiding under a chair with my very frightened dog. Hope noone finds them. :)

Making memories, that's what this was all about. Let loose today and live, laugh, love.

Jedi warriors unite!

This is awesome Sonya. I love the pics. Your kids are absolutely adorable.

We currently have no nerf guns but I just might have to invest. LOL!

Thanks for stopping by my blog! I meant to stop by the other day but things have been insane around here and I haven't had as much surf time as I like! You have a beautiful family and the nerf fight looks like so much fun!

What kind of dog is that you have? Is it a poodle? We have a toy poodle that is that same color..he's 4 years old.

Hi Stephanie,

Yes, it is a toy poodle (we have a black one, too!) I love animals and my poodles are my favorites. :)

Well, what a great way to burn off stress. I may buy some nurf toys for my house! LOL!!

I want to buy the one that shoots mini-marshmallows. Have you seen that one!?? Then you get a reward when you get hit. LOL!

I love impromptu moments like that. So much love and laughter and memories! We have a toy poodle too, she is about four months old.

BTW, about your comment on my blog. I could be more frugal too. I want to live on LESS than my hubby makes so we can put away more money. That may mean giving up diet pepsi...sniff!

As you're pondering you may want to check out my post series on my sidebar under "How High Are You Willing To Climb To Get Out Of Debt?" That will give you some ideas to ponder anwyay.

Be sure and let me know any other ideas you come up with. I am always interested in ways to save money!

This is so refreshing! Over Thanksgiving, we had an overabundance of Wii playing by the kids at my sister's house. (Doesn't help that Grandma and Grandpa bring the Wii with them everytime they see the kids!)

Truly, I think we had the best time when we grabbed the soccer balls and played "Soccer Bombard" as my CJ has called it--rapid fire soccer balls into the fence (goal). My legs and knees are still hurting; it was great!

You have a beautiful family! I enjoyed having a peek into your special time of living, loving and laughing.

I will share with you and your readers that the loving and living part came much easier for me until I hit forty almost three years ago. When I hit 40 SO much changed! God really did a work in my heart to LAUGH more and not take life so seriously. As a wife, mom and minister of the Word and counseling with so many hurting women it became OBVIOUS to me at forty that I was really missing out on a lot of laughter. It was such a noticeable shift that when it happened SO many commented as they saw a lighter side of me or as one sister in Christ said, "Pastor Lisa you are so humorous...I didn't know that!"

So thank you Sonya for the reminder to love, live and LAUGH and to do them all often/daily and on purpose!!

Bless you and your readers.

What fun family memories. Nerf guns are the BEST! I can almost hear the laughter!

Thanks for the smile.

Oh--so much fun!! Makes me yearn for the days when mine were just young!! We still have fun together, but we don't have any nerf guns around now. Maybe that's a Christmas present idea--a nerf gun for each of them.

So glad you had a fun family time. That is so important--to love and laugh together.

LOL! Thanks for the fun and laughter! It looks like so much fun. It reminds me of the day I taught my grandaughters what a pillow fight was. :D

The Christmas trees are sugar icecream cones. You can ice them with white icing and roll them in green sugar or add green food coloring to your icing. Decorate with mini M&M's and or Christmas chips. Very easy and fun! Enjoy!
