Dreaming Part 2

If you haven't read part 1, Click Here.

After I attended She Speaks in 2008, I started submitting articles for publication - and some of them were accepted!!  I have to be honest and tell you I was shocked!  How could God use my words to help others? I wondered.

Next, He gave me a ministry vision.  It was based on Titus 2. The idea is to learn to live a holy life, then teach it to others. My tag line became: Titus 2: Live it, Walk it, Teach it.  Besides a new blog I started, Titus 2 In Action, God made it clear to me no more information would be given for a season.  So I waited patiently in faith.

In June of this year, I attended She Speaks using the speaking track.  Again my BF, Kelly, encouraged me to attend with her.  But this time, I went fully expecting to receive all I could from God. And receive I did!

The entire weekend, I felt God's presence strongly on me.  He whispered things to me and I believe I gave birth to Titus 2 Ministry.  For three years, I was pregnant with the ministry, and now God allowed me to give birth.

Just as a newborn baby has a name but as parents we don't know what he/she will look like or be like when they are full grown, Titus 2 Ministry is a baby and I don't yet know what this ministry will look like or how many people could be encouraged by it when it is fully grown.

I do feel God leading me to start writing more in a focused way, and I believe He is about to release me into my speaking ministry.  I will walk in faith as He shows me the next phases for Titus 2 Ministry.  I'm excited and would covet your prayers for me as I wait patiently for each new baby step God directs me to take.

Has God shown you your ministry?

Hey, Sonya. That's so exciting. Yep, good analogy too - like birthing a baby. It is, of course, very similiar. A ministry, a book, a child - they all come forth as new creations with much pain and labor, but it is a labor of love.
May the Lord bless and guide you as you continue to pursue His call on your life. Keep us posted :)
Love,
Patricia
